Most/early all lenses have a manual/auto focus switch built in. Just switch this to OFF.

Hi, Sunny Scotland ??? Obiously not my part of Scotland. Getting used to having the living room lights on at about 3.30pm, and that is on one of the better days.

Hi, Have tried an other two lenses, cleaned contacts BUT no change. Will have to contact repairers???? at what cost???? Gosh, I just love photography, just when you think you are ahead and things are looking up....the sun goes in.

Hi, Thanks alan. I have tried the battery out and in and a different battery and I have reset to defaults. This happens in any mode and I am using the stendard 18-55mm lens. Peter

Hi, I have a Pentax K-r which has a fault. When switched on the areture and sutter speed move to F29 and 1/6000, and I cannot adjust either of them. The rest of the controls work allright and I can run through the menus BUT I cannot move the exposure controls. Any ideas. Any help. PIXELPETE.

Help... my KR has just 'frozen up' - shutter just won't work and I can't change the shutter speed or aperture which seems to be stuck on 1/6000 and F29.Just bought the camera and was trying to get to know it! Camera is just not responding. Any suggestions? Many thanks.
