Yes and I'm sure some of it is true, only question is what :
Yes, that's a very nice game they are playing and that is good .
Aside, the quiet shutter-mirror infor comes from people that were testing this camera.

Exactly, and I doubt they have K200D in stock as well .
Good for me I'm not going to buy K20D/K200D now , but yours K20D for 391 is no longer true unfortunately.

I think Pentax have done a pretty good job on hyping up the interest on this one though. Drip feeding the rumours etc
Some are rumors and some are what people that tested it have said .

Exposing to the right helps with higher ISO, of course you will not win with sensor behaviour and level of noise it is generating, but delivering more light to the sensor increases the noise to signal ratio, what in turn helps fighting noise.
Simple experiment showing that -> in poor light conditions, take a pic exposed to the right and one underexposed it by some 1.5 EV, then correct exposure of the second pic in your RAW converter to match the first one, lastly, compare noise (of course try to avoid shake blur ).

In fact, if you check out the MTF charts for many Canon L series lenses the Pentax equivalent still tops them.
Not all , some exception, C has a very nice (in terms of sharpness and focal range, not necessarily pump action) lens which unfortunatelly has no equivalent in Pentax - 100-400L.

I use Tamron 18-250 sometimes (travel) and I like it, typical stuff applies - f/8.0 - f/11 to get it sharper, not the fastest, sharpness decreases for > 200mm (still usable though), some vignetting and distortion at wider end, but still usable for casual use. 18-250 is recognized as better than 18-200.
Some example pic I've taken with K10D and Tamron 18-250mm:
