What I would like to see now, is the bubble in full shape, with smoke around it

Let's hope it improves noise immunity at high (800+) ISO.

Well we had Chris from SRS on the forum today saying that all thing Pentax are due a price rise come June 1st so its going to be even worse soon.
But I would like to support what JohnMcD is saying, different people used to say that Pentax gives excellent quality for less (than C,N), I think this view should have been slightly updated some time ago and John shows that very well.

Will see how Pentax is going to place itself for next years, it looks like they have started to do proper marketing now, look at all of these "leaks" or rather controlled leaks about K7, it works, people started to speak about it, wait for it, ... but what next , I hope they have an answer.

1) Root directory on the card is the first one you see when you "explore" your card on your computer. I you connect your card reader (or insert the card into your laptop's reader) and open "explorer" (if you are using M$ windows) the first one you see is the root one, if you haven't formatted the card before doing that, you will probably see a folder sitting there, named DCIM, just copy the file so that you can see it next to the DCIM folder (not inside DCIM).
2) .bin file is all you need, but you may copy other files if you want, they will not be used during the update process.
Basically, don't worry too much, if you have a charged battery (the thing you don't want to happen is the camera going dead during the update), when you switch on your camera holding the menu button, it will show you the update option (firmware version it found on the card), if it doesn't show, it means that it can't see the file and nothing else will happen (will show only the version of the current firmware).
