Hi Stefan it seems Samsung are not keen giving anything back Im getting pretty fed up with the whole situation. I have to phone them in the morning and hopefuly they will be able to let me know what they intend to do. I am pretty sure though I will not get another GX 20 more than likely they will offer the new NX 10 camera.

Thats my worry Mike the lens mount is different on the NX 10, you can get an adapter but Im not sure how this will effect the cameras auto focus and the metering. I did try one out today but much prefer the feel of the k10 and GX 20.

I think she was going to her right in order to get closer to the next fence on landing and reducing her time in the turn. It would have been nice to get on center.

And adding to Mannesty's comment you would have had the 'bend' of the horse too - that can be very interesting

Do you do much 'event' photography ? It would be worth checking the course direction so you can be on the correct side to see the movement of horse and rider
Thanks Guys for the feed back this was my first shot at this type of event. There was only one side of the ring unfortunatly to take photos from I was happy with this shot among others.

Thanks flossie, That would be nice and perhaps I’m being a bit pessimistic.
I would be happy with a repair too, as I really like my K20D.
and as I say it still works fine.
If you insurance company cant find a Pentax repacement ask about a Samsung GX 20 if this is the model you would realy like to stay with. My only worry for you would be, is I think Samsung may have discontinued there production of this model as mine is away for repair and the repairer cant get the part from Samsung to do the repair so Im waiting to see what my options are here as well.

Just an update on this thread my camera was sent to the Samsung repairer and I phoned them yesterday. They are unable to repair the camera as they can not get the part needed for the repair from Samsung. Im waiting for a reply as to what can be done from Samsung now.
