Well IQ doesn't look too bad. Use it for the airshow and send it back after Saturday if you haven't got another body.

I have both the K100 D and K 10 but not having used this one at the show before would be nice to give it a whirl. My fear is if I may cause any further damage to the camera.

Just a thought but it could be light bleeding in through the eyepiece. Try turning it off and leaving it in a dark room for a couple of hours.
But to be honest I'd send it back ASAP. By law if you unnecessarily use a product after discovering a fault you have legally been considered to have 'accepted' it in it's current state.

Just an update on this thread my camera was sent to the Samsung repairer and I phoned them yesterday. They are unable to repair the camera as they can not get the part needed for the repair from Samsung. Im waiting for a reply as to what can be done from Samsung now.

Thats my worry Mike the lens mount is different on the NX 10, you can get an adapter but Im not sure how this will effect the cameras auto focus and the metering. I did try one out today but much prefer the feel of the k10 and GX 20.

Clearly they can offer you a replacement, in those situation it would be normal to get a refund... problem is you contacted Samsung and not the store that you have the sale contract with.
I don't know how this will be handled, here in the Netherlands the store isn't responsible any more because you bypassed him.

Hi Stefan I cant see my options being any different if I had contacted the store I suspect there offer will be the NX 10. I may hold out for a cash back offer though.
