Not the same church but I ave tried to make the flowers a focal point and retain the detail in the window.

Thanks guys for the feed back I will return to the Church at some point and take on board your comments which are very helful and hopefuly will return with more pleasing photos of the day.

Have members any info on bridge cameras, which bridge cameras are among the best and which to avoid.

I took these two shots inside ST Peters Church in Sunderland recently. This was my first with the Kr inside a building the shots were taken hand held with available light. Can you comment on them good or bad and any tips on how to improve please.

Also if you want to save money there are some very good manual focus lenses you can pick up very cheaply. I bought a smc m 50mm 1.7 for ten pounds and its a lovely lens.

Check out the classified section there has been a couple of krs there over the last week or two and you will save quite a bit to put towards a lens.
