When the air show comes to Sunderland in July there are thousands attending the two day event. Over the past 4 years or so I think I may have seen 4 Pentax users in total.

Morning Geordie is this what you refer to on the other site or are you saying just run a little lubricant cleaner around the dial slot on top of the camera ?.

I am having problems using the Edial on the Kr. Say I want to change from F8 to F11 the dial sometimes works in reverse and gors to F6.I then have to roatate the dial until the correct stop is in place. The same problame also happens changing the apature settings. It also seems to be overexposing in some situations. I have contacted Johnsons and they estimate £170 for the repairs I dont want to spend that kind of money on a repair hence the thread to see if any one can help.

When you attach the grip to the K10 body and choose the grip first option in the menu to fire up the camera should the camera fire up from the (on) postion on the grip only. Or does the (on) postion in camera and grip need to be set to the (on) postion ?. Hope this makes sence of things.

Thats less than I thought so could you operate a lighting system from say 3 of these that would work as an alteranative to a studio lighting system.
