Having trouble wit the back page arrow. I need to click on it several times to return to the earlier page. Wonder if any other members are having problems.

I see a genuine link for Pentax to do an Olympus and release a retro camera. Their bodies looked awesome before the move to the bulky digital moulded grip.
Have to agree with that Fuji produce some lovely retro cameras today.

Hi Ian.
I have recently upgraded to a k3 from a k5, and use the lenses i already had.....
Sigma 10 -20
Pentax DA18 - 135 ed wr
Pentax HD 55 - 300 ed wr
Pentax DFA100mm macro
Pentax DA 35mm & 50mm plastic fantastics.
Sigma 150 - 500.
I dont feel any need to upgrade any of these, i could, just dont think i need to!
Stick with what you have for now and see how it goes.
Thanks for the feed back how you find the 18 135 wr. Is the 50mm the 1.8 version I have heard good reports seems to offer good value for such a cheap lens.

It would be helpful to get a feel for your budget, but a HD DA 55-300 would be a worthwhile improvement on the Tamron 70 - 300. I have both, and the image quality of the 55-300 is a definite improvement, even though it doesn't focus as close.

Thanks Phil to be honest its just a matter of seeing what turns up over time. I am in no real hurry to buy but if I can get suggestions what to look out for really.

I have been toying with idea of moving up from the Kr to a k5 11s or the K3. To get the best from the cameras can you suggest a good 3 lens kit. When I started out with Pentax I bought a sigma 10 20 sigma 17 70 and a Tamron 70 300. I also have the Tamron 18 200 as well as a number of the earlier Pentax manual M lenses. Question is will these get the best results from the upgrade or do I need to upgrade to better quality lenses.
