Don't know anything about this function. Can someone elaborate on this and also may offer there experience using pixel shift. Also is it worth paying the extra money for the option.

That's pretty much my view as well. Although not a pentax the Fuji x pro 1 is a totally different beast to the one first set of these cameras.Stuey wrote:

Personally I could afford to buy one right now but I have never bought a camera at it's release date because first of all I want others to iron out all the problems and secondly it's a matter of principle with me that I don't pay full price and then have to watch the price drop around 25% in 6 months.
Ideal time for me will possibly be the black Friday sales as SRS did some extremely good offers last year.

I don't think he has ever really looked at Pentax cameras in the past. I know they did a comparison test with the Ks2 and other models of similar type. He did also highly rate that camera. Other than its video capability as compared to the other cameras. Sensor shift has been on Pentax bodies for ages too. Perhaps he's just woken up to what Pentax offers that other makes don't.
