The K-x works rather well at such high ISO, very little noise.
I'm not sure why it was needed for this shot, though.
If the EXIF is right, (1/1000s at F8) while the movement shouldn't cause a problem at even ten times that.
Nicely composed - I hope you enjoy your Pentax.

Impressively sharp, and well lit!
Veiwed large there seems to be a ghost image of part of an extra wing, any idea what could have caused that?
The Bigma can sertainly produce excellent pictures!

Nice, but I think I'd prefer it cropped a bit tighter; loosing the slightly distracting thistle to the right & having the butterfly looking into the picture.
It looks as if it should be sharp enough to cope with the extra enlargement.
