Went with a Camera Club /Flickr Mate to The Old County Ground, BRENTWOOD Essex ( England) and we took CRICKET !! Brentwood V Chelmsford so tow local teams. I have not done 'Cricket' since I retired from Press Photography years ago so had many more Birthdays since then but for an 85 Year Old Snapper hope my reactions were still good ! Nobody got 'Bowled Out with Bails Flying while we were there !
BRENTWOOD were BATTING and CHELMSFORD were BOWLING

Ha Ha !!! I put the WRONG LENS ON ! It was my 3.5 28mm NOT the 35mm ! Just CHECKED !
Oh well -- TODAY went out with THAT lens on and used up the last short bit of that very old Ilford Delta 3200 and rated it 250 ASA this time and got better stained negs in the 510-Pyro

YO ! I found a cassette of ILFORD Delta 3200 in film fridge so thought I would see how it performed in my Home -Made 510-Pyro 1:100 Staining Film Dev -- no 'Date' but must be at least 12 years outdated.
First strip was 800, 1600 and 3200 for 12 mins -- Very THIN NEGS -- Second Strip was 200, 400 and 800 ASA for 18 mins @ 20oC -- RESULT - BETTER but of course a High Fog Level -- I had used my 'Gift' Asahi Pentax Spotmatic- F -- So I loaded camera again and ventured out into the Wilds of Brentwood High Street using a 'Little GEM' the SMC - Takumar 35mm f2.8 lens Here a a few worth showing - all 1/500th second used .

I have several ME SUPERS and most had the dreaded 'Wind Lever Fault' so I looked the Video by 'Fix Old Cameras' on YOU TUBE and had a go. I could not get all the 3 screws off the detachable bit but could access the cogs and Mirror Latch Lever with a National Health Service Syringe and Fine Needle ( courtesy of my District Nurse! ) and got a little OIL into that area -- Then exercised the Wind and now they all WORK Sweetly ! I went lout with one loaded with JESSOPS PAN 100 which I processed in Home-Made 510-Pyro Developer 1:100 and got great negs, i used mostly the SMC Pentax-M 135mm f3.5 lens but for the one of two ladies in Cafe the SMC Pentax-M 50mm f1.7 at full aperture

i organised a Night Photography Shoot for members of Brentwood & District Photographic Club and decided NOT to use 'FILM' but my 2007 bought K10D which suffers from Back-focus . I used a SMC Pentax -F 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 kindly Donated to me by a Forum Member ( YES! I did not go into the Bin as I got it working ! )
and a 'Prinzflex' 80-200mm f4.5-5.6 MC which is amazingly SHARP and used it for loads of Press Work ! A small metal TRIPOD and THIN GLOVES completed it . when I used 'TUNGSTEN' white balance for some shop windows such as 'French Quarter' it came out ' BLUE' and had to switch to ' AUTO' white Balance after all !
