The Tamron-F 1.4X Pz-AF MC4 is pretty good as well

Photographs have always been processed and manipulated, whether it's the JPEG being processed in the camera, or a RAW or JPEG in Photoshop or the editor of choice, or in the darkroom. They always will be.

I'm in the camp where I have no problem with basic image editing to improve brightness, contrast, sharpness etc. and cloning out unwanted objects/blemishes such as a discarded drinks carton for example. But I am opposed to excessive manipulation. I want the image to remain a reasonably true and fair reflection of the scene and colours originally photographed.

But of course the problem is decided what is excessive editing/manipulation - that will be different for each of us

Hi, I'm Charlie from Macao, also K3 new user, I'm heaving problems with the images. I bought K3 w/16-50mm f/2.8 suppose to bee very good. I keep heaving blur images at wide open, and also notice a purple/blue fringe at 100%. One more thing, dose SR icon disappears in the view finder when you press the shutter half way or it has turn off, mine is like that when I move up, down, left or right even slowly when press down.
Well I think I'm asking too much, thanks

What a pity I didn't spot you - I was in Macau watching the Grand Prix on Saturday

Maybe one of these - not cheap but not crazy money.

It does sound suspicious that you may have a problem with either the charger or the battery.
If you try it again then it might be wise not to leave it unattended.
Do you have a spare battery to try in the charger?
If you put the battery in the camera does it work/show a full charge?

I should say less. A new K-50 is just £349 (body only).
As well as some (minor) damage I suspect the colour may limit the potential market for buyers as well, which will also affect price.

As above, 'optimum' settings will be different for everybody and for different situations.

Most of the time the camera's default settings are fine to start with.

But maybe these are a good starting point.

A few samples - no great photographic merit, but hopefully they will be of some help
Like all the limited's, it looks good and feels good to use. Small and lightweight and just a bit more flexible than a prime.
