Ive permitted aperture ring.
Forgetting flash for the time being I have figured out that in AE mode I can set the aperture with one wheel and the shutter sets its self. This works fine with the A lens.
When I use the M lenses I find it is better to go into full Manual mode.
If I then physically set the aperture is there a quick way of getting the correct shutter speed?

I wanted to use the flash compensation but couldnt find it. I now know where it is thanks.

My first 2 issues are this:
1. I was shooting with a manual lens and using flash and the image was too bright - over exposed. I stopped down to the smallest apereture on the lens and it made no difference. I am baffled.
2. Program Line - what option should I set this to?

Just cos I havre gone outr on a limb here and tried to interpret the competition yet using the very first thing that came into my head.
I somethimes think you should always go with the first thing you think of so i did.

I take on board your recomendations.
I think I have allowed myself to become bogged down with all the techno wizzardry the K10 offers at the expense of my shots and consequently reputation,
