Nice shots, the 55-300mm looks sharper than the Macro

The sharpness of the macro shots was perhaps affected by my focusing abilities with the angle finder. Haven't used it for years, I had it on my MX.
I'll try again, though, I really like the new perspective it gives to shots of small, low flowers.

I'm still pleased with the dandelion, though!

What does the angle finder do. Is it something you attach to the camera?

It's a right angle device which clips onto the viewfinder, allowing a very low viewpoint because one looks down into the viewfinder at right angles to the axis of the camera lens.

Your lack of any further comment/apology (for getting my name incorrect) is notable by its absence, pentax expert.
In this, previous & other, current, threads you have, unlike anyone else in the months I have been pleased to be a member here, managed to cause me offense & frustration to the extent that I now consider any further comments or contact between us not welcome.
I have learnt much from the folks here & I hope I have contributed, in some small way, to the ambiance of this lovely place.
I find your, apparent, lack of any humility in your dealings with all here quite impossible to deal with.

I'm sorry I got your name muddled up. And your informtion about the angle f/rinder was useful. Thank you.

Personally I think the dandelion from below is very good. Normally, very bright (?blown) highlights would be a problem but in this case they contribute to the shot. I would be tempted to clone out (or blur) the odd bits of grass at the bottom of the frame which seem to be more in focus and a little intrusive.

I have been thinking about getting a right angled finder (ref-converter in Pentax speak) for a while but genuine ones are pricey.

I like the shot because the top yellows merge into the light b/g.

My RAF was, from what I remember, a not-expensive purchase about 10-12 years ago & was resurrected from the drawer for a play this afternoon. It's not a Pentax one (no markings at all) & laterally reverses images in the viewfinder.
I don't think the focus prob. is down to the finder per se, rather it was a case of a breath misting it up & my pressing-on without letting it clear!
I'll try again because, as I said, I think it opens up a new perspective on subjects.
