When Joe posted his two HDR landscapes a couple of days ago I spouted on about me not bothering with HDR landscapes any longer. Those two posts shot me down completely, I'm pleased to say! Perhaps PM Pro is the way to go.

Just discovered that Oloneo is Windows only!
Thanks for the info John. I normally go for five images with 1 EV steps.

For the last year or so I have playing around with HDR using Photomatix Essentials however, I rarely get the result that I am looking for! Most of the options available in Essentials are a tad too painterly for my taste and I really would like to get a more natural result; even Essentials' 'Natural' option is not as natural as I would like. Can anyone recommend software that they have used and are satisfied with, bearing in mind it is based purely on personal taste. Should I upgrade to the Pro version of Photomatix? Oloneo is looking pretty good, if a little pricey.
Your assistance would be appreciated.

For some reason the above link is not working so please go to www.jaypix.net and to the 'pentax s3' page.

I'm a bit late on this thread - the story of my life - but I do hope you went for the K2. I absolutely adored my K2 which I used for many years, accompanied by a KX. Both cameras retain respected positions within my collection and I shall never be tempted to part with either of them.

Looking to acquire 49mm slip-on lens caps, as depicted at http://www.jaypix.net/pentax-s3.html.
Also on the look out for 42mm threaded body caps and X/FP flash terminal caps.

Selling off one or two duplications within the collection, the first to go being this ESII silver body (s/n 6730639) minus lens. The camera is generally in good condition but there are a couple of small dings and a little pitting in some areas. Unfortunately, I am not sure if the camera is in working order as I don't have the appropriate four batteries available to test it. UKP.35 plus postage would seem to be a suitable price for this item, payable via PayPal. Large photos can be viewed at http://www.jaypix.net/pentax-es11.html

Does anyone have a baseplate to fit a Pentax S1a that I could purchase? If it's attached to a camera, dead or alive, perhaps I could buy that too. It would seem that the baseplates for the Spotmatic range were all the same so if you have a basket case camera sitting around here's your opportunity to be rid of it!
