Ill put it into practice this afternoon!

regarding the motorsport, unfortunately i was stuck in the same place, as a friend was un able to move around much. Of course i could of walked off, but i cant exactly leave him behind! Ill try and cut down my sets too, and try and find the perfect way to optimize photos for fb, as i added 3 photos to my flickr, and on there, i felt they were alot better regarding sharpness. Of course, flickr is a dedicated hosting site, so they will be better.

Im off on holiday next weekend, and im finally pushing myself to make my mind up on what lens i want. as stated in the topic, im after a prime lens that is 300mm or more, but im also open to zoom lenses, although i already have a 55-300 da.

ideally i would like it to have a tripod collar, for ease of use. im on a budget of around 50 pounds, so really, this is a case of chuck your unused/unwanted lenses at me.

Ill keep my eyes open! and ill keep hunting down a good "bargain". i think im starting to sway back more to the prime lenses again. Just so i can expand my lens collection, and have some variance instead of just zoom lenses.

Davidstorm is correct, me and him had spoken previously, and hes got the right idea. im after something that can beat the IQ. but then, i would happily take on something such as -

Which may not be to the same modern spec as my 55-300. but is something quite different.

Hi all,

Im still after a telephoto lens.

Im widening my search, so im now open minded to anything anyone has, although preferably id like it to be AF.

As before, i want it to beat my 55-300 dal.

Im on a tight budget. And 100 is the most im happy to pay for a secondhand well used lens. If my heart is dead set on something though, i may pay out for that bit extra something.

mine seems to work perfectly in my mode, when mounted and off camera with a wireless kit! just all the regular settings too.

So im unsure whats happening with yours.. maybe youve got the shutter speed past 1/180? because thats the limit it can work at.

It would just be nice to enjoy it with some other people around my age!

Of course id be happy spending time with older generations, at work, Im part of the Ricoh Photographic Society. Which is a sea of grey & white hair!

Ive learnt alot from them, and to be honest, they can be just as immature as me! it would be good meeting a few people from here too
