It really looks like it is solid build - and seems to be in good condition. The seller used it on a C**** with a pentax/canon adaptor. I get that for free

What did you pay for yours?

One of these are up for sale atm. Apparently it is an old one. (had a glance at the K-site)

I'm quite tempted to make a bid - but I'm not able to find any reviews of it - or just a few ones actually. Anyone used this lens??

Edit: It is not the m42 model - but the K-model.

Any suggestions regarding price?

Thanks John, and well done folks.

Belinda, common sense prevails when it comes to taking pictures of people, it is perfectly legal and acceptable. Please don't get sucked into the PC world of censorship. People are the very essence of photography.
That's why my favourite is Nimitz' babies bum on the beach. here's my very own 'minor' a couple of days ago.

Thanks a lot Darkmunk.

That picture of Mully is fantastic. I love these pictures. If I am ever going to win - one of my topics would be children/playing

Very well judged John. I might trim the sky a bit.

Well deserved 1st place. My winner as well.

It makes a huge difference. Very nicely done.

Did you try to add some sharpening by using highpass filter(s). I recon that it would be good to use in this situation without any noise.
Yes, I have tried that High Pass before but didnt think to do it on this one so I did an overall sharpen and de-noised it a bit which is why I think because of the film grain it has turned a bit soft and waxy, but heh, I like it anyway, thats what matters, but will try again HP way.
I really like it as it is now - so not to worry

HP filters just seems to be a good way - with this kind of picture. You have a lot of "structures" in the face that can be sharper with that filter (fills the gaps).

The snail seems a bit soft - not only the body

I like the fly shot. Good angle and good sharpness.
