John, please, try to understand what i'm telling you here, and stop turning it around.
I am not assuming anything at all, and this whole thing has got NOTHING to do with me. I will therefore reiterate the important points.
"THe 'Moderator' role doesn't allow anybody to make a judgment on somebody else unless this person has been explicitly offensive. Alike, establish that a conversation is getting out of control before it does.
Everybody understands rules of conduct of this forum, preemptive correction is NOT something acceptable in a community like this, in my opinion."
The behaviour seen here is of a very common nature in today's world. I HATE censorship - and as I fight for many other lost causes, I will fight for this one!!!

I understand that you might not like my 'aggressive' writing. It is sometimes misunderstood by other members.
Had I said something offensive, then there would have been every reason for closing the post. But I haven't. As I have NEVER done in the past.
I am a 26 year old opinionated italian with a Masters in Education. I know how to control my writing, and I am fully capable of conducting a polite conversation.

P.s. - Next time, how about closing some of the topics that throw rubbish on Pentax, rather than one that shows support and tells of a good experience.
p.s.s. - Amin, I agree with you, but I can't put a smiley at the end of my post...

I haven't written anything wrong, or anything offensive, to absolutely ANYBODY
This forum SHOULD have freedom of speech, and I cannot accept for 'Moderators' to close posts that are perfectly acceptable and not offensive to anybody.
I'D RATHER BE REMOVED FROM THIS FORUM, THAN NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTINUE AN OPEN DISCUSSION WITH OTHER FORUM MEMBERS.
Awaiting explanations.

I appreciate your idealistic view. I don't know where you're from, but in my world things just don't happen that way. (And if you're english - then I can honestly tell you that English society is slowly becoming less and less of an idealistic society as well)
As I stated before, my OP was simply trying to balance the incredible amount of bad press that Pentax customer service receives on this forum.
You don't like it, sorry, spend a few more years around here, and you might understand what I mean.
ALso, I have had PLENTY of experiences with pentax; good and bad ones. But never rushed to judge them, unlike many here do.
Hope this helps!

What I really don't appreciate is the continuous complaint against a service that ACTUALLY, is completely normal. In all companies there will be good CS and bad CS.
THe fact that only a customer that has had a bad experience will write on this forum, is like the fact that major photography magazines are biased towards canons and nikons. When the majority of customers use these brands, it is obvious that an editor will prefer to give space to the most common and renowned brands, in order to please its customers.
Like this, when a new pentaxian comes on this forum, and only reads post after post of angry complains reporting of bad customer service, they will have a biased impression of the brand. It is only fair to give equal reviews to camera brands, and good reports on customer service; at least once in a while.

this is not your forum. I do not care of how much patience you have, and if you want to 'kick me out' well go ahead.
Your judgment can be debated because this is not a fascist regime.
Closing a discussion without even notifying the members of the reasons for closing it, is irresponsible, rude, and very un-democratic.
I haven't seen any "potentially libellious material" and cannot therefore have an opinion on those regards.
Common sense (and democracy) is, not imposing one's own view on another.
This is not a personal attack, it is a personal defence.
