THanks to everybody who commented on the previous flower shot. I have taken all the comments on board, and though that I'd try again.

I will be shooting a very small fashion show in a local hall, there will be seated people on both sides of the runway (low - not high) and the rather large room has 8 metres high ceilings. This is going to be during the late afternoon, in a poorly lit hall.
I am considering my setup for the shoot, and I am thinking of using 2 bodies, one with wide and one with 50-135 for far/close full body shots of the models. The question is; how do I light the whole thing?
Available are 1,2,3 flashes with modifiers, and all can be wireless if needed.
Any advise?
THank you very much!
Nathan

I think i'm quite happy with this last one
(at least until somebody else shows me another mistake!!!!)
p.s. forgot to mention that for this I used the M 100mm Macro, and I am very very pleased with the results; I just don't use this lens enough

This is what i've managed with a diffuser, different composition, and better placing...

I've been experimenting a bit... and unfortunately, I really can't get reflectors or softboxes to do the job.
See its a 1 light setup, and any form of diffusion will actually not produce the hard shadow needed... so...
suggestions?

I REALLY don't think that any other system is going to improve on 99% of your photography. I have looked at your site, and the only thing that I can say is that you haven't learnt to use your pentax camera well enough to produce the results that you aim at.
I think that before you spend thousends of pounds on a camera and lens, you should really master Lighting, on-location lighting, flash, metering, composition, model posing, and a whole lot of other aspects of photography that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the system you are using.
What I am trying to say is that there can be situations where a specific camera system will be required to achieve the best possible results (like FPS for sports photogs or large format for landscape photogs) but the type of photography that you do, is definitely not one of these.
Look at the PPG for examples of IQ from pentax cameras, and you will soon realise that it is really a matter of practice, learning, imagination, learning, practice, learning. I have recently understood that after a few years making money from photography, I am still light years away from mastering the system I use (or any other system) and the PP side of things. WIth this, I am also VERY CONFIDENT about my work, but unlike you, I know that another camera won't give me better results.
