I have a K7 bought last year and want to increase my telephoto range from 250 to about 500. Lenses aint cheap and I was wondering about lens extenders (I think that's the correct name) instead. A couple of plus points is that they are easier to carry around than a big lens and are a lot less expensive. Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Joe

I'm going to try all your recommendations at home tonight and will let you know the results.

Many thanks,

I'd upgrade to Sandisk Extreme III SD cards. 4GB ones from Amazon are only around £12-£13 each. You should notice the difference.
That's what I'm already using I'm afraid.

Firstly, it seems to take a long time for images to appear on the screen after I've taken a photo, is there something I'm not doing right as they appeared almost immediately on my old Canon EOS350D.

Second, I'm desperate to get hold of a really good telephoto lens (about 400mm or so) but the prices are scary. An alternative is extenders but I've never tried them. Any thoughts or views?

Cheers,

Joe

Does anyone know how to do circular cropping in Elements 7? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I've recently bought a Sigma macro lens for my K7. It is a 50mm F2.8 EX DG macro. Despite trying now for a few days I can't seem to get it to work on my camera. What I get in the top panel (the one by the shutter release button) is 'F---'. Has anyone come across this? Is it me...or what!?

Thanks in advance,

Joe
