I suppose i should have posted here first ( before posting out on the forum ), apologies for that.
Anyway, i'm Murphy, residing in North Wales. Ive had an interest in Photography for quite a few years, but only had a Dslr for three years. I still have my first dslr, a K10D with a smc DA 18-55 kit lens, a smc DAL 50-200 and a Sigma DG 70-300 ( macro from 200-300 ). Don't see a reason to change, so i'm not going to for the foreseeable future.

I don't like to follow trends in the "change it because its not the latest" brigade. I like to photograph the things that other people don't seem to notice, hence i don't have any particular subjects or styles, but i don't like "holiday snaps", so don't show me, rejection sometimes causes annoyance.

That's me, Like me or Hate me, it's water off a ducks back.

After posting here i contacted Pentax customer support to get their advice. Just had the reply :

Thank you for contacting Pentax-Ricoh

Unfortunately this is not possible.
Some owners have tested 3rd party apps and cables to do this.
With the K10 or other older models no successful results are known.

reply to an old post i know, but Hey ! i'm new to the site and have a lot of catching up to do.

My K10D has 7005 actuation's as of 18-09-2017 and mine does the same. No Worries.

I have the K10D User manual in Pdf, if that is what you are looking for

I have a K10D with up to date firmware. I use it on a daily basis. I buy all my memory cards from Wilko. I am currently using a 16GB SDHC Class 10 ( up to 45MB/s ), Integral Ultima Pro. Very happy an no issues.
One other post here mentioned using micro sd cards in an adaptor, i tried this with two different sized cards and both failed. So switched back to SDHC.

Hi,
New to the site, so just finding my way around. While i am browsing the posts, could someone advise on K10D Cables. Specifically, can the K10D be connected to an Android Tablet via a cable. The obvious use for this is to view pictures immediately after they have been taken, rather than having to remove the card and transfer them, just to see if everything looks ok.
