if digital try this one: get a projector. Project a still image into a waterfall or fountian (near and after dusk) and photograph it with different shutter speeds on tv
Sorry can you explain in more detail, am I missing something here ?? are you talking about a electrical projector if so how can this be done I dont know any waterfalls near an electrical socket.

I have another idea about shooting a still person against a busy crowd in the street but in daylight how can I achieve this with a 1/2 to 1 sec exposure ? I know I can set the exposure to -2ev (lowest) and maybe set a F22 but I think it will still be well overexposed. I dont have filters so what options or ideas can you suggest ??

Pete
If you set it to -2ev then it will be precisely 2 stops underexposed according to the camera's meter. If you don't have any filters the slowest shutter speed you will be able to get will result from your lowest ISO (100 on a K10D, 200 on any other Pentax DSLR) and smallest aperture. I'd look seriously at buying an ND filter if I were you, they aren't that expensive and are very useful.

you can't do wireless high speed sync with the in camera flash because the in camera flash can't do high speed sync. I think it would work if you had two 360s or a 360 and a 540.

is it just me or does the WB seem too blue? I don't think my monitor is that far off. Other than that, I like the top one very much.

while Viewfinder and I have significant differences of opinion on the subject of the camera body, I must agree with him to an extent on the lenses. Pentax are currently suffering from a major shortage of fast primes, and indeed fast lenses in general until the much delayed DA*'s finally arrive.

This is no issue for me since I can't afford them anyway, but I can see how it might sway the opinion of a pro for whom the price of the lens pales into insignificance compared to it's optical quality and speed.

might be OK, not likely to be great so personally I wouldn't pay £50 for it (it has a reserve, which on Ebay has to be at least £50).

yes the registration numbers certainly don't stop working after March 31, I only got around to installing mine last weekend and it worked fine.

It is possible (likely?) that new stock now doesn't come with numbers, but if you can get a card which was shipped to the seller before March 31 then you'll get a number and it should work.

I'm selling off some of my surplus-to-requirements camera kit on Ebay, where I am known as Thatguypinchedmyname.

Up for grabs are the following

Sigma 28-200 UC - Not the worlds best lens, but works well as a walk around on film

Carl Zeiss Jena 75-300 AF - The only example of this lens I've ever seen, even a google search for it just brings up a post I made on another forum! Comparable performance to the Pentax 80-320, although the AF is a bit slower. Boxed with manual.

Pentax SMC-DA 50-200 - Through a series of swaps with my Dad I have ended up with two of these, therefore one of them has to go. Absolutely stunning for the price, and so small! Boxed but no manual.

Pentax Z50P - Good working order as far as I can tell, came with some lenses I bought from Ebay so I've not actually used it.

Pentax SFX - as with the Z50, except it has a crack in the focusing screen

Pentax 110Auto kit - The camera might work, the flash doesn't. Best bit is the 50mm tele lens which is in good order. There is also an 18mm which has some fungus.

Any questions you can get me through ebay or on here

I can see her wanting the 50-200 as well because the 50-135 isn't really long enough. Or maybe even the 75-300 that is still available at SRS. Don't know which one has better glass though as both are similarly priced.
I'd get the 50-200, it's a cracking piece of glass for the price. To drop a shameless plug in, I am currently selling one on ebay (actually it hasn't started yet, auction starts at 8 tonight for 5 days). Just under a year old but in very good condition.
