A question for you both. Does the plastic cog issue prevent the film from being correctly advanced between frames? If so, that’s helpful information, as my MZ60 has started exhibiting this problem.

I use Analogue Wonderland. If you buy your film from them, the packaging can easily be re-used to send the exposed film back. I have only used their developing service for colour films, but would recommend them for black and white as well. They provide scans online, rather than on disc.

Hi Kris, I have a 5" x 7" available now. If you need a 10" x 8", then that won't be empty until mid/late January. PM if either are suitable for you.

My daughter has given me a dry glass plate camera (takes 1/6th size). It's not a Pentax! To try it out, I have some plates arriving from Analogue Wonderland and opted for the ISO 25, thinking its slow by manageable. They offer ISO 2 but I thought that was way too slow. Did your ISO 1/2 come as part of their subscription kit?

I have to admit, I was trying out the astrotracer behind my dining room window yesterday. I didn't fancy the rain outside! Today, outside in the garden, the camera found the satellite almost instantly, after I calibrated it. I am visiting a dark skies event this coming Saturday to shoot some starscapes (weather permitting) and didn't want to be unfamiliar with the controls! I'll let you know how the GPS copes after that. Although I can't compare it to the O-gps1 unit.

The symbol is red. I'll try again in a different location. Thanks for that HarisF1.

A question for the K1 users. I am struggling to use the astrotracer function on my K1. I am sure it is user error and down to settings. Having followed the manual's instructions (page 75), I can't get the shutter to operate (and so take the image) when astrotracer is on (and calibrated) in bulb mode. If I turn astrotracer off, then bulb mode works and the shutter will fire. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
