K1 Astrotracer Query
If you have travelled to a totally different place it can take several minutes for the GPS to determing its location.
Is the K1 astrotracer so much worse than the O-gps1 then? I have that on my K5ii and when I first turn it on it takes no longer than maybe a minute to get the satellite, after that it is no trouble, and always pretty accurate.

I have a k3ii
I travelled to New Zealand and it took quite a while to pick up the GPS when I first switched on. When I travelled to Harare, Zimbabwe it took quite a while. Indeed my first few photos had no GPS.

Might explain my startrails at 20 sec on 20mm I only just spotted the GPS button after 3 years of owning the camera ...shows what my priorities are I suppose
I had to go online to find the button to turn on the movie function! sad

The astrotracer needs to know where you are in the world so it can move the sensor correctly.
I am no expert but I think star trails will still be visible at the edges with very wide lenses.

The K-1 manual had me a little under awed on the topic...Yes not expecting the edges to be without some effects but this was in the center. Quite impressed with the M 20/4 for this...Just need to fix the nut behind the wheel
