TBH I think someone is picking on feeb!

The only real limit of Pentax in my opinion is the lack of a full frame and the slow AF speed (That I see on my k20d and should be improved in the k7d, even if I do not know how much). Obviously this comes to personal needs, and could not be important.

What about the good value for money of PEntax equipment? is it still true after the prices increase?

Stefan you are useful as always!

Sorry my message was not clear, I am after something smaller, I mean a day-backpack you can bring on the plane as hand baggage, while I will bring a bigger baggage for the whole travel.

Not any easy task! thanks all!
The lowepro flipside 400 is the first one I found with the upper compartment larger than the lower.

Size(Exterior):
13W X 9.6D X 21.1H in./
33 X 24.5 X 53.5 cm
Camera Compartment Inner Dimensions:
11.8W X 6.9D X 8.7H in./
30 X 17.5 X 22 cm
Top Compartment Inner Dimensions:
11.8W X 7.3D X 12H in./
30 X 18.5 X 30.5 cm

A normal backpack could be naother option, if it has 2 accesses, so I can take the gear from the lower and other stuff from the upper one. the problem is to choose a model without going to a shop (far from where I live)

I own a Lowepro Fastpack 200 is perfect to carry all my gear for a photographic daytrip. I love the lateral quick access, but the space for personal staff is small and it tends to get heavy.
I tried the kata 466 and 467 as well, but the upper compartment is quite
small.

As I will do a travel abroad bringing with me the 17-70 and 55-300 (79x83mm + 112x71mm, 440g x2), I was looking for a backpack (possibly with quick access to the camera) to be used everyday, that allows me to carry, let's say, 30% equipment and 70% personal stuff, in order to keep all with me safely under control. The weight is also important too.

The biggest problem is that is not easy to realize how much the upper compartment is really large. The only way is to check them in the shops, not easy to do for me.
To me, it looks that all backpacks have an upper compartment smaller then the lower one.
HOpe someone knows some backpack that answers my needs.
thanks

Really excellent photos, I love the effect of the circular polarizer.
I also love Sydney, and hopefully will go back for the new Year's Eve...any suggestions on little known places would be appreciated!

thanks for your opinion!
Yes that makes sense and it was what I thought. I am not talking about photos of private momets, etc. I hope my photos on flickr look harmless!

Cheers

Hi All.
I friend of mine said that we should ask a consent to the person we publish the photo of.
Anyone knows what is the Law?
I found this topic, but it is not exactly about that.

My opinion, but is only an assumption, is that if you take photo of people in a public place and you do not earn any money, you should be allowed to publish the photo.
Does it make sense?
Things may be different if the subject is a child. or even if is under 16 or 18 (which is the legal age for this matter?)
thanks

on refelction I'm not planning to as

A)I'm only stopping for an hour to meet up - got to get home to sort the kids
B)plan is to meet up and see what/if anything we could plan for the future in the way of getting out and about
C)don't want to be in the pub, on the barbican, on a friday with loads of kit + nowhere to keep it secure at work

but it would be good to get out with the kit at some point soon if we share the same interests

of course there is nothing to stop you going for a few shots after a few drinks if you want to.....

see you on friday
