By that do you mean change the aperture? Thats my biggest concern as it dosn't seem to be changing as much as it should when I change from f2.4 to f11 for example. The shutter speed doesn't change much at all but there is no exif data to let me know what the settings are.

I was advised to get one by someone I suspected had more knowledge than I. If its already got one then I'll go with that and see how it goes. If I decide I need one I'll take it from there. I didn't realise that these things had significant cost implications.....

I've just received a B&W 1000x ND filter from SRS in a 49mm thread - took a while though and I'd more or less forgotten about it till it arrived a couple of days ago.

It might mean that they've got some in stock?

Really lovely colour in these. Makes me want to pay a wee visit to Carlisle Cathedral and try some myself.

Excellent set full of character - Hotel where no-one stays would have to be my own pick.

I like Closed - I think its possibly the darkness I like.

I like them all in different parts - I really haven't got the bottle to photograph folk in the street yet.

Cheers for that Tim. It seems to work fine - just a tad awkward at times. I might have a dabble at a proper Pentax one just to be certain its doing the right job. The SRB one does seem well made though. I was pointed towards tham by a bloke at the Jacobs stand.

I'm a big Wainwright fan and I've been looking at getting down to Wales sometime this year so thanks for that.
