No, it isn't, really.
Well OK, it is when we get feedback, like "Just ordered one - £10.99 delivered, from ?__________?".

Care to fill in the blanks?

At the time of your posting, I doubt many here had this lens. Maybe somebody has now.

If you can remember, where did you have the focus selector set, Auto, Sel, or centre?.

Which lens did you use which gave good focus? Some older lenses only use the centre spot, irrespective of where the selector is.

Postcard stuff. Good, but not very interesting for me.

SR off if it's on a tripod. On otherwise, unless you have a very steady hand. Wait for the SR stabilised indication (the hand symbol) in the viewfinder before fully depressing the shutter release button.

And our commission ? ? ?

It'd be nice if you told us from where you have bought one.

Mac,

I had a similar issue trying to fit the Bellows-A to my *istD and ended up putting a small extension tube between camera and bellows as has been said.

With the K10D/K20D however, because the body is larger, I don't need to use the extension tube. The bellows fits fine. You might find the same with your mirror lens.

There's your excuse to buy a new camera

CA is definitely a function of the lens, but purple fringing is often attributed to the cameras sensor.

It'd be interesting to see if there is any difference between the K10D and K20D as their sensors employ totally dissimilar technologies (CCD & CMOS respectively).
