But until the current 'we can only sell canikony' philosophy is abandoned I fear for their survival.
If they can actively sell enough Canon, Nikon, Sony product at the right price to encourage people to buy, they'll survive.

Adding the Pentax brand to their store front will not have much influence over their survival or demise. Other forces, mainly Joe Public deciding to hold on to his/her pennies to pay for heating etc., will have a bigger influence on their future.

Yes it does. With the shutter release button pressed, you slide the whole button forward to lock (hold)it and an orange 'flag' appears.

The wife has now got the idea though that when he does finish school we rent out the houses in the UK & Spain, buy a motor home and go off for a few years.
My wife and I had the same idea. Then we realised how many nights half board you can get in Europe for the price of a camper. We use hotels now and can still navigate the tiny streets to be found in some European cities/towns/villages. You can't do that with a camper.

Don't worry Kris, I'm sure we've all taken images like that at some time. I know I have, I'm just not brave enough to show them to the world.

Although, not available when mode dial is turned to Green: Page 100 of the manual.

Green mode is for people who should have bought a compact camera

Also learned how to get the focus point back from the peripheral points...darn, how did that happen?!
If you set the focus point to centre spot only (using the big dial to the right of the screen), like most of us here, you won't have that problem again.

Hi

PM sent on the hot shoe grip, 4p sync cords, flash distributor and extension tubes.
FYI: Auto extension tubes does not necessarily mean that they have the electrical contacts for use with modern cameras. Check with seller.

If they have no contacts they can still be used, but with the same limitations as pre-A lenses IE. stopped down metering, metering inaccuracies.
