Why not just buy the right battery?
Because they are a ridiculous price. £40 for a battery is a disgraceful rip-off.

Love the Landie shot. I had an earlier TDi version for about 10 years and loved it.

Some very nice images, thanks. I'm still waiting for my MX-1 to arrive from UK and I'm itching to use it.

The size/weight problem doesn't bother me much, I like a camera to feel like a camera, not an empty fag packet.

Close Bridge, hold down the Ctrl key and start Bridge. You should see a reset window, choose all three options.

Have you installed all available updates?

Failing that, uninstall Bridge and reinstall to see if that fixes it.

Tip: Install a second identical drive and configure a RAID 1 array to dramatically reduce the possibility of this happening again.
Eh? :
What's your query?

Perhaps it wasn't obvious, but I was referring to the hard drive failure, not the Bridge problem.

Again, Spanish drivers are obviously psychic because they seem to have no need for indicators, they certainly don't use them. They must know where everybody else is going to turn, pull out, pull in etc.

If you buy a used spanish car you can guarantee that the indicator stalk will be pristine and as new. Plenty of scrapes on the outside though due to their automatic touch sensors for parking.

If the car behind or in front moves, then they've touched it and have worked out the fore and aft boundaries of their parking space. Simples, who needs ultrasonic assisted parking? Not the spanish.

In Spain, it seems Audi drivers have a special dispensation to drive at least 25Kmh faster than anybody else on any road. I stick to the 120 Kmh limit on motorways but 90% of the vehicles that pass me are Audi, some considerably faster.

But we digress. Digital is better, move on . . .

I've just bought one and didn't even bother looking at other suppliers. SRS are usually very competitive on price but for any small difference in price, the 2 year warranty and their after sales service in most definitely worth the difference.

Welcome to our 'club' but I'm sorry, you can only post images from Ricoh/Pentax products here.
