It says on the Pentax firmware page for the K-3 Mark III firmware version V2.00 the following...
Added Type 3 to the item of the AF.C tracking AF point method.
Added focus sensitivity setting item for AF.C.
What does the first item mean and where is the AF.C focus sensitivity setting, I've looked through the various menus and I cannot seem to see it, unless I've missed it.
Regards, Chris.

Excellent set, well done.
I used to do a lot of photography for a local short track oval racing club and I used my K-5 II together with a Sigma 70-200mm 1:2.8 which had its IS set to mode 2, (Panning)
Question: Would the K-3 III's SR Panning mode have been any use in this situation?
I just read that it is meant for slow moving objects, but at the same time, depending on your camera to subject distance, you could be panning quite slowly.
I've managed to find a photo showing the marker tyres on the turns/edge of the track.
Regards, Chris.

If you are talking about a small rotational movement, I've observed this is several marques and their lenses. As long as the lens is in firm contact with the mount a miniscule rotation doesn't seem to have any effect. It should be miniscule though and probably would go unnoticed unless we start twisting lenses routinely to check.
The rotational movement is minuscule and the lens has worked fine on the couple of times I've tried it. I'm thinking that the movement could be exaggerated by the sheer size and weight of the lens.
