I have always wanted a Bigma but recently I have seen the prices increase massively until I spotted that they're much cheaper again in the US. 47 St Photo have them for $960/£585 which is a big saving on UK prices.

Has anyone bought from the US recently and does anyone know how much the import duty is?

It feels like a big saving?

I've been reading this topic with interest but now you've really got me confused.

I was thinking of buying a TC to go with my Sigma 70-300 APO DG Macro lens. Which Kenko 1.5 TC do I need - the Pz-AF SHQ or the DG-MC. And does anyone have any experience with adding a TC to this lens.

I've read good reports about the Tamron 1.4 but cannot find it anywhere?

I've been reading the posts for about a year when I bought my first digital SLR, a Samsung GX 10. I have an old Pentax ME but I was never particularly successful with it. Thanks to the age of digital I'm improving with a GX-10.

I like to shoot wildlife and model aircraft.

My biggest wish is to get closer to my subject!!!

My ambition is to own a 500mm lens such as the Bigma.
