Taken at quite a distance across a lake with the KP and DA*300 with TC 1.4 AW at f6.7 and 1/1500th ISO 100 and massively cropped.

Took these just after sunset, which wasn't a great one sadly, from Mountbatten Beach around 6pm on Monday. K1 mkII and DFA 28-105 WR and handheld 1/25th sec f11 ISO 100.

Great shots, well done. Is the 1.7 TC showing slightly better sharpness than the newer 1.4 TC or is it my eyes?

DA*300 and DA 1.4 TC AW. The Kingfisher was a bit far off, handheld supported on a monopod stick, ISO varied and on the Cormorant 1600 ISO and 1/1500th sec.

1. Hiding here so shot through the branches, which give a surreal effect. (IMHO)

Took these today up on the Moor, was hoping for more rolling mist or fog but unlucky this time, bit of snow around though.
K1 mkII and DFA 28-105 mainly f11 and all at ISO 200. Handheld. Oh, and I have reduced the WB temperature setting in RT (Kelvin?) instead of using the 'Picker', down to the "magical figure" of 5500, this setting (550 I think it was said) was recommended as a way to get as near as damn it to a neutral grey, on a YouToob. I think it has done a good job, comments welcome as always. Note: the new red buds on the tips of the branches.
