Bit of Birding this morning.

DA*300 and DA 1.4 TC AW. The Kingfisher was a bit far off, handheld supported on a monopod stick, ISO varied and on the Cormorant 1600 ISO and 1/1500th sec.

1. Hiding here so shot through the branches, which give a surreal effect. (IMHO)

lovely the king fisher is on my list but so far I have only seen a streak and a flash

Detail of the plumage on the cormorant is very well captured.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
