Wow what a difference between the two, very nice. I have heard of Siril, actually have it loaded on my Linux PC but not used it! -yet. Yup you must certainly be addicted but why not with these results.

You sure as hell know your way around that camera and lens, loadoftripe. A good eye for an image as well. Excellent work here, especially the sky. What, if any, post work did you do?
The first one is near as SOOC, I did remove a dust spot or two, but the white balance was set on a saved K setting of 6784 I believe and I thought was a bit more warmer than actual. Therefore on the second pic I did lower the WB temp in PP to 6473 K in RT but everything else was SOOC. Both shots were handheld BTW, f10, 1/40th sec, 105mm, ISO 100.
The 3rd shot was on the tripod, and I set WB on camera to Cloudy, which showed in PP as temp 4104k (FYI) settings ; f7.1, 28mm, ISO 100, 1/20th sec. I did crop a bit off this one but SOOC really. I took numerous shots and underexposed in steps to stop the sunlight blowing the highlights, checking results each time.

Thanks all for the comments.

I saw this catching the light, it's a bit whacky but here we go anyway - don't ask what I've been on!

"I hope you will forgive me editing your picture"
"I think there might be a little of it left, even so. What do you think? "
No problem with your edit BTW. I quite like it, and if there is a bit of a red tinge left, to my (poor) eyes it's a good sign, as it more realistically captures the scene. I did remember my ND filter has this effect and adjusted the colour temp (in haste I might add) from 6473 to 5492 in RT, but obviously this was inadequate. I had another look and lowering the temp even more begins to turn Blue, as you would expect, I shall now use the colour picker more often. Thanks for the comments all.
