Thanks Rick for your time, did you notice my PS earlier in the thread?

PS. Rick, the POTW - two most recent ones from the same day downloaded?

Maybe dates corrupted?
To clarify, the last 2 winners

I am in Favour of the Admin judging as I would not like to judge, however Steve (Lubbyman) raises a good point, so as a suggestion could we have the option, perhaps a tick box or whatever. Who wins can choose to judge or pass to Admin, could also be useful if the winner is going away or falls sick and finds it inconvenient.
Who knows I may then even join in the competitions!

After the torrential rain stopped I had a walk down to the Barbican for the annual Seafest, first time for me but I recommend it highly.
The usual Pirates were there and the wet cobbles too. Live music, we watched the Busketeers live - great stuff!
K1 mk2 and DA* 11-18mm f2.8, Warning many snaps to follow;

Thank you all for the comments, appreciated as always.
I was lucky as this Dragonfly appeared very inquisitive around me and kept coming close, 1 metre, but only snapped him at approx. 2 to 3 metres.

Looks like you're enjoying yourself here, good shots and interesting the way achieved. Wonder how they match up compared to using your macro 50mm? They look sharp on my mobile.

Correction to my earlier ramblings, I have another smc-m 50mm f1.7 and it is tack sharp stopped down even in the edges, no sharpening or ca required. Shot same place even with a slower shutter, incredible lens, the other one must need a clean!

I should clarify the ,edges, where the problem unsharpness was apparent.
