Expensive - but 1.1Kg and a small 7" screen but with DVD writer
That looks so good, but as you say bit OTT price, I wd rather put that towards my MAC if I have any money left when I get back!
But thank you for sourcing that info and the other one too. Very nice of you

Lilly - if you go with your latest thoughts, make sure you take a pack of CDs and DVDs with you. Then, all you need is a friendly hotel owner with a PC where you can create your own disks.
Yes, brilliant thought, I shall take a pack with me, plus they sd be easily getable in India!

Well I am coming to the conclusion that relying on a storage device is not a good idea and I am not going to lug a lappie around - So MikeW I am going with your suggestion, take as many cards as I can reasonably afford and just download onto discs at cyber cafes as and when I can.

It is at times like this that I look longly back to the days I used to go off for months with just a bag of film in my rucksack This solution will be as near as those days

Further to my fraught search of image back-up for my trip away,
I have since been told of a gadget that came out 3-4 years ago called an APACER DISC STENO CP100/200, which looks just the job.

However, I have tried to locate one new or SH for sale and can't.
Has anyone an ideas where I might locate one?
