I'll happily download your picture and host it from my site's server for you. You can then just change the link in your post, to the one I give you. Obviously, I won't do it unless you give me permission to though.
Cheers

Burnham's only about 20 miles from me.. I might pop over there at the weekend, although where I live in Bracknell, it's just a riot of colour at the moment. It's really been changing in the last week or two, so I'll see on Saturday.. it's meant to be a sunny day as well.

I'm in a bit of a rush, so here's the picture, and I'll fill in the detail later..

Edited at last. This was taken at Winkworth Arboretum yesterday (Sunday). This is one of the less colourful ones..

I don't know about the water.. I just looked at the others from the day, and there was just this and one other shot of the same swan taken at the same time. All the others are, as you say, a range of browns, greens and greys. It was a bright sunny day though, and the sun would have been at about 10 o'clock to the direction I was facing, so perhaps it was just the angle of the reflection from the sky (which is why water is blue anyway) that caught at the right angle. Translates as DUNNO..

Re: the eye.. I might do something with it, but I like evil.. As a swan, it perhaps doesn't work, but it does make a focal point as t'were.
Swan contacts coming up..

I went out yesterday to take some Autumnal pictures and I'll sort out a couple to post later, but we went to a woodland lake just down the road and I took this..

*ist DL | Pentax-F 100-300mm @ 110 | ISO 200 | 1/125 @ F4.5 | Fill in flash
Apart from cropping the height slightly, (portrait tends to look taller on the screen than it should) this is how it came out. For some reason I really like it.. hope you do as well,..

((36^2+24^2)^0.5)/((23.5^2+15.7^2)^0.5)=1.53091.
(36²+24²)/(23.5²+15.7²)=1.53091
(Alt+0178 = ²) loads more ASCII characters can be used using the same method, and any figure repeated on both sides of an equation can be discarded

if you can wait 'til the weekend, I'll happily knock up a basic site design for you. It won't use flash or JS, but it'll acheive the same effect for secure browsers.
How much do you know about web design/coding? Check if your host server will run SSI (it should do) and it'll be easy.
