not sure what you have there, but my zip files don't contain an .sis file???
You should have downloaded a zip file called..
wiziwyg_xp_install.zip
You need to open this file with Winzip (or Winrar) and then just double click th file called
Setup.exe
This should begin the installation wizard.
If this still doesn't look like what you have, then I've just uploaded it to my server.

Click the link above and then click Open in the download box, and the zipfile should open automatically. Double click Setup.exe and follow the prompts.
The program itself is self explanatory, and you get nice clear instructions to follow. Again, if you get stuck, just ask..

Any 9 year old could put it in your PC for you in 5 minutes, and you'll get a front USB port as well. Many of the older machines don't have a front USB port, so that'll be handy for you.

what you need is light.. whether that's studio lights, flash or a combination of the two doesn't really matter. As long as you can control the strength and direction of it to your satisfaction, then that's it done.

the kit lens (18-55) is a good lens, especially if stopped down a touch, (Iuse mine for about 80% of shots) and from what I've seen is almost given away as a free gift with the body, compared to the retail price. I haven't used the 16-45, but it's seems the general concensus here that it is the superior of the two.
Yes you'll need an adaptor (I think the FG or F, but someone else can confirm).
Canon.. really Peter..
Firmware is nothing to worry about. All it is, is a little chunk of software (a small computer program, if that's easier) that runs the hardware inside the camera. If you bought the K10 now, with the new firmware release out, I'm sure the shop would load it for you if you asked nicely, but even if not, it's just a case of loading it onto the memory card from your computer, and then loading onto the camera. Very easy, and any of us would talk you through it step by step..
Hope that helps..

I knocked this up a few months ago.. thought I'd pos it again, if it helps..

in the above image, the larger (shaded) area relates to the size of the 35mm film plane, and the smaller area in the middle relates to the size of the digital sensor in comparison.
(And no pedantry points for noticing I got the depth of the sensor wrong in relation to it's width.. by the time I'd noticed, I'd already done most of it.. )

The above will be the two images, shown at 100%.

I just got pointed in the direction of this..
https://www.tvbgone.com/cfe_tvbg_main.php
by a police blogger..
It's a little remote control that will switch, on or off, most TV sets. Now when you go into a pub, and there's football screaming out of the TV, you can switch it off..
If you do this in a Westham pub, and they're 2 nil down to Millwall, I suggest you don't tell anyone it was you though.
