Nice photos! I like the black and white best.

I agree with everyone else, that HDR when overdone is terrible. Architectural photography is definitely a good place for HDR, as well as landscapes.

And yes when you purchase Photomatix it removes the watermarks.

I had been wanting a digital SLR camera for about 8 years. Yes, a long time.
I never had the money to get on board, and didn't find much advice about choosing an SLR camera. Eventually I had the spare income to purchase a camera, and I remember seeing a preview of the k-x on engadget or something. I was sold. I then went to the official Pentax promotional video and that made me want it even more! I bought it the day it came out in NYC and think that it is an excellent value for the money. Just one problem, now I need more money for lenses!

It writes the word "photomatix" or something like that three times across your image diagonally. So its impossible to crop out. I would just recommend purchasing it. Totally worth it. I have really enjoyed experimenting with HDR images. I only advise that you don't overwork them, as I think overworked looks tacky.

Thats a familiar spot! I really like the second one, those clouds are beautiful. Every time I have made it to Central Park this Winter it has been overcast skies, so I haven't gotten any good shots yet. Nice capture.

Hi! I am new to digital SLR photography and for my first camera decided to purchase the Pentax K-x. I am so happy with my decision! The K-x is a perfect beginners camera, and is actually very fully featured. I have been busy taking pictures every day, check them out here.
