You didn't like it then Martin? Price seems a tad high given what you paid for it .
like it gwyn, like it a lot....but i'm trekking a lot and found that more compact prime might be better choice, even at cost of little worse iq...
wanna buy it back?

For sale pristine star lens, glass is absolutely clean, body in excellent shape, only dedicated hood has a minor scratch...SDM works fine with amazing precision although is tiny bit slower than screwdrive autofocus....but seems to be more spot on. For sale with original box and softcase.
looking for 575£ + shipping

will add photos later...
thanks for looking

I'll try to see what the going rate for them is.

A friend borrowed me this lens for some time to try....and i really like it despite quite heavy CA and purple fringing. They seem to be quite difficult to find....but if anybody here is thinking of selling it please let me know.

Alternatively I will offer my DA*50-135 in exchange if we agree on some reasonable compensation. While I like my DA* lens, I settled for a more compact primes....so that's the offer...

thanks for looking,

Martin

If intended for landscape photos maybe you should look also for some good manual focus primes, like A20/2.8 or K20/4.....the latter is quite decent performer....better than K18 or DA 16-45 which I had. One downside si that it features 5 leaf apertures...so when shooting against the sun, you might get some pentagonal flare...

That's seems to be pretty rare lens to find nowadays. It's reputation is very high, I'd love to see some photos from it.

Hi, thanks for quick reply. Yes I supposse the takumar and k lens might be similar, but i'm after K-lens, because i don't like to hassle with adapter. I used to have takumar 50/1.4 and genuine Pentax adapter as well....but even so i cannot obtain focus to infinity for some reason, that's why i'm leaning towards K lens.
