WTB : Pentax K 35mm/3.5

Hi guys, is there anybody thinking of selling this nice small lens? Let me know. Cheers...

I have an S-M-C takumar 35/3.5, which is optically identical, I believe.

It's in excellent shape - I don't really use it, so would be happy to sell it (and also have a spare, genuine Pentax M42 adapter, if you need one). Let me know if it's of any interest - I haven't looked in to pricing, but imagine it will be significantly cheaper than a K35/3.5.

Hi, thanks for quick reply. Yes I supposse the takumar and k lens might be similar, but i'm after K-lens, because i don't like to hassle with adapter. I used to have takumar 50/1.4 and genuine Pentax adapter as well....but even so i cannot obtain focus to infinity for some reason, that's why i'm leaning towards K lens.

The optical design of this lens remained unchanged from 1959 to 1979
according to this site link

So any of the Pentax 35mm f/3.5's should give similar results with
the SMC versions being slightly better.

Fixing an M42 adapter to the lens permanently should produce
a lens that gives better metering and focus indication should
work up to f/8 or just set the lens on INF for landscapes.

I bought an SMC M42 for £18....Much cheaper solution
