Hi all. Does anyone have any experience using the Kenko 2x Teleconverter with any Pentax or Sigma lens, and if so, how badly does it affect AF?
I am always looking for a better long lens alternative to my 150 450 and 1.4TC, and have been considering trying one of these. I'm curious if it would work well with a Sigma 300 2.8 too.
Cheers, Kev

Actually never considered that lens, but it would fill a nice gap in my lens arsenal, as I have nothing between 50 and 150, except my Macro. Google time...

Nice image indeed. Brings back fond memories of visiting the Lakes.

I prefer the flipped too, and as long as you like it's fine in my book.

Evening. A few variations on a shot I took last weekend at Hever. First visit there despite living within 20 miles of it all of my life, and there will be many more, as we have a year pass. I digress. I really like some of the HDR stuff, so I've been messing with this image. Hope you like them. All critique welcomed.

Original, as shot.

Thanks for the reply. I was curious, having just bought a used (hardly - 297 shutter count) K3 Ii

Superb shots. Can I ask why you have kept the K5 over the K3 II?

To me ball heads have always been useless, no fine adjustments at all.

So for me it's a Manfrotto 405 for landscapes and a Wimberley for wildlife.
Have you ever tried the geared x-pro heads? I nearly bought one specifically for Macro, as they are minutely adjustable.
