1. Use the Auto-Focus Fine Adjustment settings for each of your lenses. It can make a big difference.

It's a good question, but the answer will depend on the individual.
For the results I want from the K-1 I shoot in JPEG with these settings: sRGB, Natural with +1 sharpness, ***quality, centre point focus, centre weighted metering, AF and exposure locked together, -0.3EV, ISO as required but generally 400.
That may or may not suit you, but I hope it helps.

Sorry, just realised I don't qualify as a non-K1 owner ..... but I've found that advice has worked for the K7
