Precisely what has brought me back here (Again!).
It totally is about what gives you a grin when you pick it up. To plagiarise Ricoh/pentax a bit, it's all about the "Joy" of taking a picture. I left because when I was a working "Pro", I had only the time and money for just the one system, now I'm kind of retired (Ill health), I am not limited at least by time. Short end really enjoying my Pentaxes! In fact, much more than I enjoyed my Z6II/Z7 work Cams, which are currently sat languishing in the office at home in the "Work bag". I have come to the conclusion that there is no "perfect" Camera, well not in the long term anyway, currently trying to decide what else to use going forward but for sheer "Joy", for me anyway, it's gotta be Pentax.

Enjoying my 16-85mm enormously, if you do get one, make sure it's a good un first.
Heard lots of good things about the Sigma, 17-70mm. Just had to send a preloved16-50mm F2.8 SDM back with dodgy focus, I had to try, I never learn!

Seems to be the way nowadays Mike, whenever you go to a camera shop to just have a dekko, the thing you want to look at isn't there.

Sorry but where aside from SRS can you actually go into "Bricks and Mortar" and hold a Pentax Camera? I'm sure there's a few in the south but in the north, the land of Wilkinsons or Jessops there's nowt!

Pentax or Ricoh or whatever they are this year are changing their model, if it works, fine, if not go get something else but don't expect Ricoh to give two hoots about the resale value. I fully expect that they will not be the last to "Reboot".
If it means they listen and no more cludgy/Japan centric, K-01/K-S1 I'm all for it.
