Jules, I just happened to have the Pentax 18-55 sitting in front of me
As a side note, those Hoya filters are excellent; they got the highest ratings from LensTip.

I own a K20D with a 18-50 kit lens and a SMC M 100mm F4 macro, would any of the filters left be any good for these?
If so Im interested as everyone say you need some filters!

First off a Giotto's MH1302 Head with 652 Plate, never seen action just been lying in a drawer for about a year. Was going to be part of a Mini Tripod self build project that I never really started. £35 anywhere in the UK.

Next my beloved HI TEC Filer System (As good as Lee IMHO).
77mm fitting but as I use exclusively 49mm now it isn't much use to me now, I've been holding on to it but realistically I'm not going to give it the use it really deserves so it needs a better home. £65 Anywhere in the UK which is the cost of the Holder and the 77mm ring on their own! you will be getting the grads free...

Wimberley P40 Long Lens Arca Plate in cracking nick, £25 Anywhere in the UK.

Wimberley P5 Generic Camera Body Arca Plate, perfect £18 Anywhere in the UK.

Acratech NO2172 Canon 5D MKII Body plate (Yeah I know!) £15 Anywhere in the UK.

Filters are all I think basically unused, just opened to try on the Lens Not take a picture!
Hoya 52mm UVC Filter, two of these £9 Ea Anywhere in the UK.

Hoya 62mm UVC Filter £12 Anywhere in the UK.

Hoya 67mm UVC Filter, Two of these £13 Ea Anywhere in the UK.

Lastly two Used but Lovely Hoya Pro1 77mm UV'S Slim mount ones, £22 Ea Anywhere in the UK.

Jules, if you want exceptional build quality, look out for a SMCP-FA 100mm 1:2.8 macro lens. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Expect to pay £300 - £400 for one. It's solid, heavy, built like a Challenger tank, and delivers superb image quality. I used to have one, I replaced it with the D-FA version which is much lighter but I still prefer the FA.
(Didn't look at Sigma, too much history there for me...)

Kinda makes me want to stick around long term...[/quote]True to their word my K5 just left the building, I could almost hear my K7 sniggering as it left
Just got to await the new stock now...

My DFA 100mm has now arrived!
I get the quibbles some people have about the build quality, it seems adequate no more than that however and it hunts a bit. Despite the fact that I ws expecting all of this I'm a little underwhelmed
Not going to buy another though I'm keeping it, it's very sharp and I'll learn to live with it
Just got off the Phone to Curry's where I got it from, I couldn't in the end afford an extra £100 to get it from Warehouse Express et al and so took the risk, The Lens was delivered in a Jiffy Bag, rolling around in the box with the hood detached and no Packing inserts in the box, also the Storage pouch was missing!
Thats the risk of going this route as I've already read in other threads here, the upshot is my Lens is ok but it's had quite a trip buy the looks of it. You pays yer money and ya gets what ya get...
Enjoyed giving Currys a good rollicking far too much though
