10 Days for my Building Society to clear a check from a University!
So sat looking at Monitors again and having second thoughts...
Eizo looks good on paper but how is it in normal office use? Since my other half works from home sometimes she will want to have use of the PC occsaionally and I have read that the PVA Screens look odd when viewed just off head on or for longish periods? (I know about the auto settings for eye strain etc)
The ASUS PA246Q and the HP LP2475W Have reared their heads in my mind again. reading the reviews on TFT Central et-al, (Thanks Stefan!)the HP Has an 8 bit look up table but very even screen illumination, the Asus 10 bit with a variation of up to 20% which is apparantly not noticeable because it is also quite an even spread. As opposed to the Dell U2410 Which has a variation of 22% and is a bit all over the place, so I think that un is out at least!
Heeelp Thinking too much....

Looking for a good copy of the Pentax FA 24-90/3.5-4.5 lens, which must be in excellent optical and mechanical condition.
Actually gave one away yesterday because I didn't think it was worth anything
That'll teach me

Manfrotto's are always a reasonable option price Vs Quality wise and just been revamped so presumably even better than before?

Not sure How wide they go but I had some sucsess with them and as Simon Says, they give much less colour cast than Cokin. I had the wide 85mm holder kit and it did seem very well made and I didn't notice vignetting on my Nikon 12-24mm with it but then you can set some Automatic corner illumination/vignetting correction with the Nikons and Canons. (Was Not even mentioned in the Nikon Manual for my D90 but it was in the D700!)How it fares on the Pentax/Samsung variety I don't know...

Not really told off, but sometimes we can over-think things. You seemed to indicate you wanted the best you could for a reasonable price.
