Sikypix does what it it supposed to do, convert RAW images. It is not a library tool.

At the weekend I'll be using two K100D bodies, but would very much like to be able to sort the images from both cameras on time taken, so as to view the images chronologically. I'd then like to be able to batch rename from there so the pictures can be viewed in the correct order. Does anyone know if this is possible using either Silkypix, Elements or Irfanview?
And, on a similar theme, is it possible to batch rename in Silkypix giving a filename beginning at 001 rather than at 1 (again, so as to view in a browser in the right order)?
Thanks for any help,
Jonathan

I love the last pictures that each of you posted in this thread - two of the most interesting macro shots I've seen for a long time.

Apart from the very similar shots I think I was the only one to choose this subject, though maybe I could have done with a little more DOF.

Does anybody have any idea how these compare optically with a 20 year old 35mm Tamron 80-210mm f3.8-4.

Look in her 365 self-portrait series for some nice examples of the 43mm Ltd & 21mm lenses on a K100D.

If you get another chance to speak to the bride before the ceremony try to get her to walk up the aisle AS SLOWLY AS POSSIBLE. This will make it much easier for you to get good shots, & hopefully will allow her to savour the moment. In my experience as soon as the music starts the bride's nerves will mean she's likely to whizz up the aisle. Better for you & her if she can slow down...
