I have purchased a roll of prepaid slide film from boots yesterday to test out my new Pentax MX. I see that it comes with an envelope to send it off in. There is a "Please Affix Stamp" area on the front of it.
Do I only need to attach one first classs stamp to send the roll of film or do you need more ?

How big an area does the light meter read roughly ?
Is it comparable to spot, centre-weighted or matrix metering ?

All of this is true, but it is a good idea to talk to the seller first.
We shouldn't assume that it was deliberate until we have at least communicated our dissatisfaction.
Give the seller a chance to put it right.

So let's say at the time it was not the best SLR around but was far from the worst it might be a Nikon D300.
Like I say I'm not familar with the SLR's back then so it may be a nonsensical (sp) question. I imagine there are alot more models now than there were then anyway to make a comparison difficult.

You are well taken by the MX - you really should buy yourself a second one as a back up!
Think I'd better take some pictures with this one first though.

Never mind what film, i want to know how many times you will look at the back of the camera after taking a shot.

It was just a tad too wide for the large letter guide slot. The postage was £1.28 1st class in the end, 2nd class would have been £1.08.
If you were to just put a stamp on and put it in the letter box not sure if they check every letter or if they have an automated checking system but if not you may get away with it.
