If you use slide film, tip the camera down a bit to exclude most of the sky when metering otherwise it tends to be about 1/2 a stop out. Or meter off the grass.
Off topic, I just got a roll of slide film back from my ES I picked up on ebay a little while back. I am pleased to say the metering is spot on, and the 135mm SMC Tak looks very nice too. I'll try and scan some images.

How big an area does the light meter read roughly ?
Is it comparable to spot, centre-weighted or matrix metering ?
