I'd follow John's advice. Several uses of the cameras own system first, followed by rocket blower. On the only occasion it was needed (and not with a Pentax) I found VisibleDust sensor swab very effective.

Both of these lenses are as new, barely used and with all the original cases, boxes, hoods, caps etc. They are less than a year old so still have some UK warrantee (and the 50-150 was bought from SRS so the warrantee will have over a year to run on that one).

I've not included pictures but can provide them if necessary. All I'd say is that these lenses are absolutely immaculate and have been very well cared-for. If you find a problem, I'll take them back and refund the money.

Sigma 30/1.4

The fastest APSC standard length lens you can get, and perhaps the closest that many of us can afford to the FA31 Ltd. It is a wonderful lens which is particularly sharp in the centre, a little less around the borders. It should appeal to people who love good bokeh and shooting wide open. If you are someone who prefers to stop down for edge to edge sharpness, it may not be the most obvious choice.

These cost £399 new from SRS, and mine is for sale for £300 including PayPal fee and insured postage within the UK.

Sigma 50-150/2.8

Only a few months old, and a superb performer. Great affordable alternative to the 50-135 DA* and offers excellent build and image quality.

This lens is rumoured to be replaced by a new one with built in OS, which will no doubt be a pricey version costing several hundred pounds - and hardly worth it for Pentax owners with SR in the body. Mine is for sale for £325 including PayPal fee and insured postage within the UK.

People may have noticed that I'm selling kit at the moment, and I know that makes some curious. So just to confirm I am staying with Pentax but in a restricted way - my little GF1 is now getting so much use that I have far too much kit sat at home and not earning its keep. Besides which, I need to prioritise other stuff like buying a new computer for the kids now they're in secondary school. So I've decided that now is a time when I really need to sell my under-used photographic kit and put the money to better use elsewhere. I know there will be times when I may regret it (including these two lenses, actually) but I can't currently justify the amount I've invested in gear that doesn't get used enough....

Katzeye screen for K-5/K-7 still for sale. It's been brought to my attention that Katzeye are currently doing a special offer and this screen would currently cost $205 plus postage and import duties new. Given that, I'll lower my price a little - to £90 incl insured postage within the UK, which represents a real bargain for a superb focussing screen.
